The LCA Show is back on May 23!

“Everything’s Coming Up Kathy”

The annual Legislative Correspondents Association of New York State show, which has been put on by Capitol reporters and alumni for more than 100 years, is the longest-running gridiron show in the United States.

We took a Covid-19 timeout in 2020 and 2021, then returned in 2022 and we are now back again for the 121st show with a plethora of political jokes, skits, and songs.

We'll be announcing the rebuttals for 2023 in very soon. Past speakers have included the governor, legislative leaders, and state party chairs.

Enjoy appetizers, cocktails, and entertainment, while mingling with state lawmakers, lobbyists, and reporters.

Cocktail hour starts at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m. Rebuttals will begin at roughly 9 p.m.

This year’s tickets are $150 – or buy them by May 1 for an early-bird discount price of $125. Purchase them at NYSLCAShow.eventbrite.com or drop off a check to Zach Williams or Bernadette Phillips in the LCA Room on the third floor of the Capitol.

This is a fundraising event, with money raised going to a local charity. In the past the proceeds have gone to the Food Bank of Northeastern New York.
