Preserving the History of the LCA: The Legislative Correspondents Association, a bulwark for the 1st Amendment, traces its roots to the Albany Press Club formed in the 1880s -- the group also spawned Wolfert's Roost, its original clubhouse. Many written records, artifacts and photographs have been preserved over the years and are now part of the special collections of the SUNY Albany library.
